The flagship mine is the core of BarrxGold’s production. Ore is extracted underground and treated at a processing plant located close to the mine portal, keeping haulage short and operating costs under control.

HOW IT WORKS

Underground mine

The mine is developed through a series of levels and ore zones. Mining methods and backfill practices are selected zone by zone to balance recovery, ground stability and worker safety.

Processing plant

An on-site plant crushes, grinds and treats the ore to recover gold. Plant capacity and recovery performance will be published with the asset’s technical report.

Growth zones

Satellite ore zones along strike from the main deposit offer the potential to add production and make fuller use of existing plant capacity.
